    Because Of You
    If I make a slit today,
    Please forgive me 
    When I'm on my way,
    I know what I'm doing and,
    How it's done
    My conscience is clean 
    And so's the gun.
    Yes I'm nervous and excited
    My eyes are blurred
    And my hand is shakin'
    Father, I don't mean to hurt noone
    Only myself
    For what had happened
    With me and you
    Now my life had taken a twist,
    A wrong turn, 
    I woulda turned around
    If I knew it wouldda turn out like this
    But I don't know where to go.
    Now I hate myself
    For what we had become
    Why does my heart gotta rip in two?
    Why does it gotta be because of you?
    I love you
    And I know you feel the same
    So why'd you have to hurt me so bad?
    You say we are ment to be.
    You say we'll work it all out and it'll be fine
    How can you say you feel the same as I do?
    When you're with her
    You say you want her NOW.
    But not forever.
    You say you want ME forever.
    You say she's just to get you by.
    I can change my mind about you
    But I can't change my heart.
    They say follow your heart not your mind
    So why try to change your mind
    When your heart wants otherwise. 
    God, please help me find my way, 
    If you can't help me,
    Then forgive me for being lost.
