When Did I Lose You
Where did things go wrong,
What did we lose,
When did you really leave,
When did my name you stop to use.
Whose do you call now,
Who do you caress,
What do you call her,
That made you miss me even less.
Is she good to you,
All you ever wished,
Caters to your every need,
Makes your favorite dish.
Is she all you ever wanted,
With whom you will grow old,
Do you feel you can’t live without her,
And her heart you hold.
Each time she cries,
Your tears roll down,
Each time she hurts,
You realize the love of your life you found.
Does she complete you,
Holds your heart entire,
Shares your dreams and future,
Her loyalty you admire.
Finishes each of your sentences,
Feeds you her last bite,
Can’t keep your hands off her,
Or of her lose sight.
I hope you learned,
I taught you well,
I hope you never forget,
Compliment always her smell.
Give her a single red rose,
One is enough,
She will hold on to you tightly,
If she is really in love.
I will look into your eyes,
Will wipe down your tears,
You’ll know that day,
What have been my fears.
Will she appreciate your efforts,
Know it came from your heart,
With the best intentions,
Which sets you apart.
Will she turn the other way,
If so I truly feel your pain,
One day long ago,
To me you did the same.
