    Side By Side
    You make me happy
    With the things you say
    They make me get butterflies
    Your words are so beautiful
    They're making me cry.
    Every word you say
    Brings tears to my eyes
    In the best ways
    I hang on to your every word
    As if It'll be your last
    I'm counting the days till
    I'll see you again. 
    I'm waiting 
    For the day
    That you come home
    To be with me
    You make me feel 
    Beautiful when I'm at my worse
    Remember
    When we stayed up all night
    Doing nothing
    But talking?
    Sharing out thoughts 
    And nobody was judged.
    I made fun of you
    And everyone laughed.
    Then you whispered to me
    And all you said was 
    "Payback is a bitch"
    Yes hun it is.
    And I'm still waiting...
    With every on-going day
    I want to walk every step
    With you by my side.
    Through thick and thin
    Happy times and sad.
    Through deaths and births
    I don't want to live this life
    That I lead
    Without you, 
    Side by side.
    With you 
    My life is better,
    Easier somehow
    And if I didn't have you
    Walking me through 
    There wouldn't be 
    A reason good enough to continue
    This horrified life.
    Now I can go to bed at night
    And know that I'll have a reason
    For getting up in the morning.
    You make me happy
