You Have The Key
Remember a place that housed pure bliss
The love we shared,
The passion,
That kiss
The feelings were there,
Grew stronger
By the night like gliding in air,
An angel in flight
You were the one I wanted,
Whom I planned to marry
Even though we were young,
It was the
least bit scary
With you I was complete,
With you I was whole
With you lied my heart
Most of all my soul
But slowly it changed like a child's smile to a pout
Somehow that fire,
It just dwindled out
Everything we had was gone in a flash
Taking my heart and soul
And dumping it
In the trash
The love I had,
Was so real
Packaged up tightly with my soul as the seal
It was everything I had,
It was all I could give
You were everything I wanted,
My reason to live
Now here I lie in a bottomless pit
Eternally showered with a sorrowful mist
So dark,
So deep,
Such a painful place to be
With one locked door but you have the key
Why I ask,
Did you walk out of the door
Left me nothing but this pain stricken floor
My heart lay beside me
Broken with the seal stripped
It's contents beaten,
Battered,
Out my love dripped
All I have left is a broken heart,
Torn soul
A sorrowful mist in a room so cold
How could I love someone
And it be so deep
Now all that love given back,
For me to keep
I will love you forever,
My heart,
My soul and me
Waiting for your return
Waiting for the key
