Plenty Of It

Plenty Of It

a residual capsule awarded
to frequent mindless beings
ready to shed shift and shatter
little means of laughter
brought by simple joys
leaving no room for warmth
swelling heads into decomposed clatter
to swirl on branches of fleshly matter
sworn since birth to breathe it's torment
to the submissive souls of our time

If I'm reading this correct, this piece takes a good jab at society.

I like this poem the title and the content is very good and you paint nice picture of what you're trying to say. I think it would be a nice POP Ballad and would be an enjoyable recording, very good! Congratulations! wish you the best! grecowong@yahoo.com

like the way you write and express

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
