A Conversation in Appreciation

Long time no talk, how have you been
Did you find a good activity
I make you laugh you grit your teeth
I smile whenever you correct your speech
It feels so good to be an eight
We can finish dead last in thier race
We'll take our time theres no need to run
Look out now, Here comes the sun

Now, long ago I was happy
Fates plan was to the contrary
Sometimes destiny and your world collide
You crawl deep within yourself and hide
Pain can take your faith in God
But time shows there's a bigger plot
Love will come and pain will go
It always seems to arrive, apropos

I, needed time
From out of the darkness, to climb
I went it alone
And found
I lost my way

But some day came and I met you
Passed several moons before I knew
Such a friend you sensed my plight
Your hearts light shines so wide and bright
It took way too long to realize
My emotions were paralyzed
You showed me it can be true
There's another side, as you guide me through

So we speak through electric circuitry
But no doubt there is a chemistry
You often call us kindred souls
Swimming alone in our own fish bowl
You've given me more than you will ever know
I Thank You now, but in good time i'll show
I know you must go and start your day
But theres one last thing, I have to say

You, Showed me the way
That if your dreams should, fly away
But floats back you
Once again
Then they're yours

It would seem that it is always darkest just before the dawn. Drew.

Much appreciated Blue, I am glad you liked it. You are right, I try to express my feelings at the time with each write, like reading from the pages of my diary for all to see. Peace and Love, Spence

A very touching and beautiful tribute to your friendship and the special relationship you both share, truely inspiring and breathtaking to say the least! To have gone through the trials and tribulations of the past, to have lost so deep in the darkness of the abyss that the light was nothing but a faint memory, and to have come so far into the light of dreams, the hope and promise of the future, and the renewal of the spirit of one's journey. And I feel this chemestry of kindred spirits is a little more than mere friendship. I feel this poem is a tribute to friend very close and dear to your heart's keep. One that has awaken something deep down inside the very pit of your heart and soul that has only begun to be fully awaken, yet the spark has been lit. The fire is growing and before long the furance will grow warm and the heart long froozen in a prision of time will melt and once again beat with the blood of life. Once again to feel the light of love... I think there is much more than one thing you have yet to say , I feel this is more the tip of the iceburg, the flood gates are opening and the words and emotions of yoru heart are just begining to again flow... Perhaps I see, perhaps i am blind. Purity of the soul, journey well!!! your dear friend Angel aka The poem buster

A new beginning.....Each and every day offer so much above the ground, that often is forgotten or ignored until that angel/friend arrives and paints a perfect picture onto the blank canvas you have laid on for so long...A friendship is hard to come by and when it does...you must take it and place it in a crystal box and cherish it, guard it and love it forever....This is a beautiful expression from your heart Spence...Thank you for your sweet and precious mind. God bless~

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
