    Poem Commentary

    written for a 5 year old

    In The Pink

     In the wee hours of the morning
    When most good children are still asleep
    There comes a lumbering dragon
    And, he doesn't make a peep

    But, if you should catch him lurking
    He will give a mighty roar
    Then, his eyes will turn bright yellow
    And, through the air he'll soar

    So, the buzzing you hear isn't a mosquito
    Even though that's what you think
    But, a terribly , ferocious dragon
    Who is very brave, and very pink...

    He knows he has a duty,
    To continue the destiny
    Of all pink dragons that came before him
    Thus building a dynasty


    So, if you think hear a buzzing
    Don't swat, for heaven's sake
    Because you might just destroy a kingdom
    All in the hours before you wake.

    This shows great imagination and is very nice. "So, if you think hear a buzzing" should be "So, if you think you hear a buzzing". But really, I like it. ")

    This is a cool write, pink dragons. who knows maybe God made pink dragons back in the day, maybe they lived with the dinosaurs.
