Your Growing Up
I sit here silintly every night,I watch as you are sleeping,
Wishing the sleep fairy would come to me.
I can't believe you are already fouteen,
It seems just like yesterday,
That I held you in my arms.
You are growing just so fast,
That the time seems to just fly by.
Your growing up way to fast,
I wish time would just stand still,
If even for just one moment.
I can't believe how beautiful you are,
I wish you could see what I see,
Everytime I look your way.
Your Grandma past away just a little over
One year ago today,
You are more like her then you will ever know,
Your kind heart and gental words,
Always bring comfort,
When I am sad.
I thank God everyday that he chose
Me to be your Mommy.
Your growing up way to fast,
I wish time would just stand still,
If even only for a moment.
