    I wrote this about a friend who i thought could be a boyfriend. But the control began and i realized he will never be my man. He's all about looks and appearence and money and all that i hate. i figuere God made me ugly and that is the way i will be. I don't care what people say and think about me. We're all human! Man and women a world we may never understand.

    Girly Girl...

     So you want me to be a girly, Girl?
    What's wrong with my appearence to this world?
    A girly girl is not who I am and not who i will ever be!
    You have to learn to accept me for me!
    I will do my best to make you happy,
    If you promise to satisfy me too and love me.
    So you taught me to put on make- up
    and change my hair,
    I'm supposed to worry about other peoples
    thoughts and cares...
    You have left me speechless and breathless, ran out of words
    I no longer dwell on the past that I've witnessed,
    Or worry about the bad things that I've heard...
    You may be older then me but Love is not what I see,
    Age doesn't matter and you have set my spirit free...
    Thank- You for trying to help me Johnny...,
    But you are not the one for me and we could never be!!!!

    i love the positivity and the desire to remain independent even though you are in the process of pleasing someone you love. you asked me once if love was a strong word to throw around and it looks like you are strong enough to handle it.excellent poem of self discovery and desire to br caring and cared for.
