    The Love of A Child...

     The love of a child,
    so sweet and innocent,
    But yet so wild,
    The greatest gift heaven sent!
    They grow up so fast,
    You always seem to remember
    the young years from the past...
    The sweet words out of their
    mouths at such a young age,
    You always want to last,
    But the older they get they fill with rage.
    It's part of their growing stage.
    Everyday you turn another page,
    and the gift gets greater ALWAYS!
    So fragile when their young and learning.
    But as they get older,
    their brain and little arms keep turning.
    Asking questions, Getting into everything,
    AND they keep on growing!
    There's never a way of really knowing...
    They say they love you,
     and you beleive they do...
    But, how do you know if
    what they're saying is TRUE? 
    It's because it's the next
    BEST LOVE GOD GAVE TO YOU!
    A love so RARE with every touch,
    Parent and child love each other so much!
    The love of a child,
    never goes out of style,
    The love of a child,
    like Jesus lasts all the while!
    Brother and sister, Aunt and Uncle,
    Grandma and Grandpa, Family and friends,
    THE LOVE OF A CHILD NEVER ENDS!!!!!!!

    I really like this one. Children are God's treasure. They pour out happiness and love like the sun pours out light for us to see and keeps us warm. There such a joy and I know this personally because I have a little 2 1/2 year old daughter who means everything to me.

    Beatiful poem. I agree, a childs love is pure. This poem made me think of the lil ones in my life and that made me smile. :)
