Popcorn in the Fields of Golden Poo
One day I sat near Madelynns’ oak tree
And all of the sudden I felt her magical breeze
I was reading poetry, and feeling free
I heard a “Gesundhiet” after I sneezed
Then an Acorn fell, and hit me on the head,
And then charmingly said to me, “Popcorn!(that's my name, lol)”
“Madelynn wants me to tell you,
you are the acorn,
the longevity of her heart”
“I had to fall, and do my part,”
“Airborne the Acorn“, lol
“You’ll only have it once, lover’s luck”
“Luckily for you I showed up”
“Or is it down?”
“I like your upside down frown“, lol
“You are a lucky button”
“She sure is something”
“You should walk around her tree”
“In a clock wise motion”
“Just out of respect, that’s my notion”
“I hope you have a pocketful of coal”
“Because love has stricken her soul”
“And going back as far as Greece”
“I’d keep coins in my pocket to reach”
“Have a handful of pennies, found heads up”
“Then toss them in the eastern sea for good luck”
“Do you hear that Cricket?”
“He comes to you for warmth”
“Maybe the whole colony, a swarm”
“Hear them orchestrate?”
“One come, and all forth, give them thanks”
“They sing, love her weeble”
“When she wobbles, love her wobble”
“Show all people, show her”
“You’re her popcorn popple”
So I did agree, and again I sneezed
I couldn’t believe me eyes
There came an Elephant with a surprise
He said to me, “I shall bestow you a favor”
“Tell me the truth, and I want flavor”
"I shall give you my memory and strength"
"Shall you truthfully tell me your love’s length"
I said, “oh, yes I do, with every Word I Slingth*
"Mr. Elephant", “how did you turn my clothes”
“From front to back, and then turn them blue?”
“Well I had to do something to you”
“You told me the truth”
“Since now I’m weak, and have no clue”
I was like, “Oh no, what should I do?”
Then the Acorn said, “Popcorn!,”
“cross you fingers, and find a clover”
“And hope that the Golden Poo oozes over”
“Golden Poo, what,
with that what shall I do? !@“
“You spit in your hands, and rub in the Poo too”
“And then hand shake the Elephants hand”
“He will then come through”
“Oh My Maddi, anything for you?”
Then there came a Buck with horns of luck, and said,
“I can get you the Poo, but there’s something you must do?”
“Yes anything, tell me please, will you?”
Ok, “Popcorn, feed me horse chestnuts”
“So I can have long life, and look cut”
“Ok, I seen some way over there near a horseshoe”
So I gathered plenty, pounds maybe twenty
I looked hunchback, like a knock on wood
Oh this Poo stuff, better be, better be good
The Buck ate, and ate allot
He gave me a rope and said,
“tie a knot, tie it alot”
Then he said, “swing it high, and swing low”
“Lasso that there Pig, yonder, down below”
“That’s what you do“,
“demand from him, The Golden Poo”
So that’s what I did, I got it all over
I got it all over thick on my shoes
I went to the Elephant, and shook his hand
He said to me “you’re one hell of a man”
“We were going to use bullshit”
“But in dealing with love,
Bullshitn’ is not part of the plan”
Then I seen seven Rabbits
With strands of thread
“Popcorn“, they said, “follow the thread”
And you shall find Madelynn-giggling
All giggly were the Rabbits, "well that’s what she said"
“Well you better hurry before something else falls on your head”
Then Again I couldn't believe what I saw
Leroy gave Madelynn the Chainsaw
