    This can be read two ways, like I said before Time is a two way street. Read the poem without reading the italic underlined words, then read it with them, it's shows the negativity in life.     Sippy Cup


    the year date is 2010

    the planet earth

    ~

    the world

    ~

    Together we can’t make a difference

    Even with your own agenda, you can’t

    All actions have a repercussion, not

    Remember all hearts are breakable, not

    Sorrow reaches out for comfort, and it’s to far away


    Forever is always forever, in death and dreams

    Always is changing now, always schemes

    Learn to love, and that doesn’t pay

    Love to learn, just to get laid


    Tears can be dried from the inside out, like a raisin

    Express your emotional vulnerability, that you’re a sissy

    All of humanity cries out in some form, earth is a giant crib

    Reach out for spiritual healing, and fear is the hand you grab

    Sadness can be intervened, from a drug dealer


    Can you put yourself in someone’s shoes, plagiarism boots

    Have you ever bought some one shoes? In another life

    Anger damages the process of happiness, King Jealousy

    Now is the time to feel, only of the flesh

    Greatness is small, when it’s written big on a check

    Everyone is great, when they can benefit you

    in the world

    this is what children are born into

    this is their continuous sippy cup

    this is a neat concept...I have one myself which can be read top to bottom and bottom to top and still makes sense. It was hard to do and I no longer like the piece because I see exactly where things didn't exactly fit...so I have never posted it...maybe I will after seeing this piece here. It is a much different concept than mine and it is a very good one...taking away words and it still makes a point...add the words again and it paints a very different picture. May the Kudos be with you young Skywalker.

    This is so very cool! Shows you talent in such a way, very unique in your ability as many of your works show such originality! I enjoyed walking away with two very different messages all from reading the same poem! Excellent in your skill!

    WS, A philosophical poem that gives way to looking society straight in the eye and saying, "yes this wordslinger has got something to crow about." He even underlines it for those who may not readily see reality's emphasis. A poem I can appreciate and relate to for the children are our future. ginga
