Ramblings On Glassy Screens
The tv screams for mere attention,
Imaginary friends for viewing pleasure:
"Hello, how are you today?
I see you there in all you ways,
Your little secret's safe with me,
Trust me, watch me, just believe
And I'll visit you in all your dreams,
You'll wish for me, you'll beg to see,
All the things I offer thee--
Joy and sadness, simple glees,
Stories, tales on tv screens..."
Now it's over
Credits rolled by
Now we see
And now we cry,
Popping up inside my mind,
Now I type to satisfy...
All those voices in my head--
All the truths we wish were dead...
