Falling.
The heart has no right to die,Take some cyanide and some suicide;
Melt down completely, down to the hole.
Life once a flower, now no rose.
Nobody knows where left the rose,
It slipped away beneath their nose.
How could it just end this way?
A cigarette burn and a scar to wait.
No, no, don't wanna be late.
There's no more time to contemplate;
It's all over at the final gates.
Time has no more second chances.
The bed was made for one in mind,
Crashing down with single glances;
No, no, can't leave it behind.
It's the lives lived that hold them close,
They're leaving it all for a paper rose;
No soul here, now, not anywhere.
A paper rose to rip and tear;
It hits the water and falls away.
But what's the difference?--Things stay the same.
A candle lit in a parking lot;
When the truth is seen it's left to rot.
But oh, oh, just leave it behind?
The candle shines but they're just as blind.
Make the distance, try this time;
Missed out on all the plastic signs.
Now the truth seeps in and the pain is real;
The time bomb is a spinning wheel.
Parachutes burn and the pain is deep;
Begin to fall and begin to weep.
This heart just has no right to die.
