The Epilogue To Unexpected Endings
Once a caterpillar --
now a dragonfly --
flies -- flies --
and understands not
the cause of transformation --
landing on a flower --
not quite the same --
no butterfly tips
to suck honey drips --
or pretty, showy wings --
he walked into the caccoon --
expecting certain things --
but no -- no -- no --
what greeted him in spring --
was just the speed to flee --
