    Poem Commentary

    For this poem, I asked for a title and I had to write a poem based on the poem [Yeah...I did several of these xD]. It's not as EPIC as the title sounds, but I like how the poem turned out. Critiques are always welcome.

    Twilight Of The Thunder God

     You always! said you loved me,
    And one day you simply left.
    Now you can't begin to $ee
    The feelings in my chest.

    I was BIG and BAD and BRAVE,
    And you just gave up on me.
    You sent me to my grave,
    And I surrendered to my dreams.

    My epilogue had altered,
    The endings so unclear.
    This was the twilight of my living,
    And the end of something dear,
    The darkness in my walking,
    And the methods to my fear.

    As a child I always thought,
    That I was a big shot.
    I thought I was somebody,
    And you taught me that I'm not.
