    Where Does Your Reliance Lie?

    Fireflies, ladybugs, and mischevious things
    Creep and crawl and fly
                                With wings--
    To hide! Have they promised you light,
    Sight, or luck? Nonsense! You have
    Been spun and strung out to dry;
    Wipe those tears! For the end, as we
    Know it, was all but expected!
    But don't squash and swat the jinxes;
    For what they've done,
                                Was unintended!
