ALONE
I have a heart that beats, Yet there is still a black holewhere there should be a heart,
Whats more brittle, A touch from the cold or the
emptiness that freezes the soul,
Always taking more and more,
Never enough given back, Never enough,
Eyes are black, No sign of life,
A void with no filling, No feeling,
Lacking all that makes it right, Lack of light,
In the darkest places we hide, Never looking out,
Only receding farther and farther back into the dark,
Till we are no more but a mere shadow,
In some ones memory,
Wondering if you really existed in the first place,
Finding you are not alone in here,
at the same time you realize, You are,
ALONE.....................................................
