To Have and Hold
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have some one,
To hold close, To protect and love,
Wouldn't it be nice if this world was right,
With no fear, No hate, No plight,
That abuse could be a thing of the past,
Be it mental or physical,
But we are human, Flawed and perverted,
We hide behind a smile, A thought, A impulse,
How we act, How we live with ourselves,
How we hold on too our sanity is a miracle,
We hide to look normal,..............Normal!
How do we live with ourselves ?
When the mainspring snaps ,We lose control,
We do things to others in the name of love,
When we have no idea what love really is,
Why must we inflict pain in all we do, ?
What happened to reason, Right or wrong,
Where did we lose it all and why ?
Why can't we learn to walk away, Think,
Come back and forgive, Do whats right,
All I say is why must love be a pain,
Why must love hurt when love is sweet,
Love is to share, Love is two hearts becoming one...
Stop abuse
