    PARASITES Pt. 2 & 3

     With one last giant shrug, The last ship pushed through the clouds, Entering space,
    The last remnants of a race to inhabit the planet Earth,
    After thousands of years exploiting the natural resources,
    They left a dying planet nobody wanted,
    Slowly the clouds closed the holes they had left,
    Earth shook itself as a dog would with flea's,
    After All this time the parasites were gone,
    Yet the tears and cries of other planets could be heard,
    As the ships landed on new worlds,
    To populate and continue a cycle that is man,
    So now the clouds cover a world abandoned,
    Hidden in space, Left to die.........

    From space all is not light in the darkness,
    Fear of what approaches in the harsh night,
    Tends to scare us beyond our imagination,
    From what we don't know or comprehend,
    Destruction is our only answer, Only way,
    We destroy what we don't understand........

    you've created a classic vision regarding the destructive ways of mankind upon this world and future worlds it may one day inhabit (if we make it that far).     These are so great. I love them. Your words paint such amazing pictures. It's sad but true, fear of the unknown and the different causes such destruction. You say it so well. Wonderful!
