    DEVOURED (JL)

    My love is a hunger, A thirst,   That will not end,
    I can not find peace until I am with you,  Part of you,
    My will is lost,  Control is beyond my reason,
    For you are my only reason,
    Hunger is in your eyes too,
    I am consumed in your vision,  In your heart,
    We can not put out the flames,
    For together we are the Fire,  That burns forever,
    Igniting two souls, You and I,
    Until everything around us is ash,
    Still the hunger grows,  Devours,
    I taste it upon your lips, Your fingertips, Your breast,
    The way you tremble at my slightest touch,
    My breath upon your neck, A caress of your thighs,
    Too gaze into your eyes, Looking deep,  Finding heaven,
    Finding love in every tear drop,
    A love I hold in my arms, Hunger in every kiss,
    We love, We feed, We devour,
    Each other in every way.......................

    I love the looking deep part, thats the special gaze, for sure, Phoenix, I like this, A great poem to set someone on fire for, sweet it is..

    This is beautiful.So tastefully written,yet with just the right amount of sexuality,to give this piece a desired presence.There were actually certain lines that were just-breathtaking,bringing romance to linger on the senses.-I loved this part-Finding love in every tear drop, A love I hold in my arms, Hunger in every kiss, We love, We feed, We devour, Each other in every way...~That is just the stuff a -sigh!-is made of!     Thank you, I am glad you liked it, its how I view things for real.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
