    Held Prisoner

     Tearing at this cage
    that holds me prisoner.
    I cannot
    find the key
    to release me.
    I beg for help,
    but my cries
    are silent.
    No one comes
    to rescue me
    and I am
    stuck here forever
    in this prison
    that holds me captive.
    Clawing, tearing
    at these bars
    with no success.
    The fight is draining
    out of me now,
    but I will still
    try till the day I die.

    the poem was real, there are cages that keep me to , hidden but still there. very good

    Hi. I love the way you write. And yet you sound like an optomist trying to write like a pessimist. Forgive me if I've got that wrong, but I think if you wrote as an optomist you would write with a passion. X
