    Poem Commentary

    For all those people who ever thought they were better than somebody because of some circumstance.

    The king

    Think you're so high-
    set above everybody,
    like a king?
    What makes one a king?
    Is it self-proclaimed
    or is it set on your
    head by others?
    How do you get so high?
    By being a hero?
    Doing something great in your life?
    No, that cannot be.
    There are heroes everywhere.
    Is it by surviving the worst?
    No, that can't be either.
    How do you get to be so kingly,
    so high and mighty?
    There is no other reason to be thought,
    except that it's all in one's head.
    Otherwise, someone gave
    you the wrong idea
    and filled your over-sized ego,
    for which society
    now suffers.

    Seem as if your boyfriend did the wrong thing. I wonder who was this about. sad thing, I think that many want the title but a few want to do what it takes to be the King. I have discovered that to be a King you have to be a true servant to your people, and not the other way around. That is true Kingship.
