    This can be interpreted many ways but I wrote this for my daughter and my newborn son. They are so innocent and I want to be there for them through life and beyond. I love you so much, my beautiful children!

    Changing my ways for you

     I look at the way
    you look at me
    and know that
    I must change.
    I am not
    perfect-
    yet you still look up to me.
    For that  I must change-
    I do not want you
    to be how  I am now.
    You are my guiding light-
    your love wins
    over the love
    that I have for everything else.
    You do not see flaws-
    but  I feel them
    when  I hurt you.
    So for you
    I am changing,
    changing my ways,
    my laws,
    my habits
    because I know you watch-
    you see everything that I do,
    so I am changing
    for you
    my love-
    my guiding light,
    my beautiful precious-
    I am changing....
