Remembrances
I walk past your door every day
remembering the magic unlocked behind it.
How your fingers trembled over my skin-
caressing it, awakening a need deep inside.
How your eyes looked hungrily in mine
looking for a signal to end it-
knowing none will ever come.
Your lips crush upon mine-
bruising them, telling of your desire.
How you drank in every bit of me-
shying away from nothing.
The fireworks that exploded as we touched-
all this I remember.
Now I have nothing of you but my memories-
for another lives there now
and you have gone away.
