    New Journey

    This new journey-
    taking awhile to depart-
    but all know
    it will be worth the wait.
    A place to be safely held
    in a home's embrace-
    painted by a dreamer,
    one that has waited
    so long
    for this-
    this moment, this life,
    this happiness.
    A sigh of content
    whispers,
    shaking the participants,
    warming their soul
    as they listen
     to this heart's happiness,
    as if it speaks directly to them.
    What a wonder
    for this journey to have
    taken so long.
    Now its arrival
    is final
    and it seems as though a dream
    has been breathed into
    the minds of those
    who have waited so long.
