Pain So Cutting
Light glinting off-
the razor catching my eye.
He holds it against hisself,
threatening to cut.
I beg, I plead
don't hurt you this way,
he presses harder.
Crimson blood now
trickling from the mark
staining his skin.
Seeing all red, I run.
I have to save him
from the monster inside.
Sinking down, gaping at me
as if asking how I could.
Tears skating across his cheeks-
I never meant to, he cries.
Pain roars through him
as I reach for him.
Clinging to me as if a child
his pain rocks his body
as sobs quake through him.
I never meant to, he cries.
