but your actions remain the same.

never intending to change.

but someday has come and gone.
Shall I be patient
or resign myself to this is

Losing patience with you,
losing interest in this, I explode-
just to hear you say "I'll change,"
but never meaning it.

There you sit.
Your arms stay by your side,
never reaching out for me,
to hold me close by.
No compassion you show.

I cry, you say "I love you,"
promising more empty phrases,
thinking it's fixed
but nothing is.

promising me everything,
giving me nothing.
