What do I mean to you?
Am I someone special
or just another woman to you?
I fear you do not feel about me
as I do you.
Your face I hold dear in my mind,
your touch I savor,
your name I hold sweetly on my tongue.
Do you feel the same?
Or am I the only one with this feeling
of love so dear?
You hold me captive,
looking at you puts me into a trance.
I see your eyes wander, though
and I have to wonder
if I can ever satisfy you,
or if you uphold a standard so high,
not even the ravens in the sky
are able to reach it?
I don't know.
I don't know if I ever will.
