    Seas of Love

     Lost in the seas of love,
    a sailor trying to fight the tempest.
    Raging now, the storm threatening
    to take over.
    Tossing side to side,
    the love storm rages.
    Whipping and cracking,
    sinking into despair-
    not sure of survival.
    The sailor trying to steer onto course again.
    A beacon cuts through the storm,
    beckoning to land.
    The lovestorm fights,
    struggling to keep the sailor at bay.
    The boat drags on land,
    the sailor escapes the awful storm.
    That love's not worth it, he says.

    Poem was good and there is some sort of truth hidden in it!

    Thanks. I was trying to write it as a kind of irony, I'm not so sure I succeeded, but the poem kind of took on its own life once I started writing.

    Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
