Raindrops
The rain splatters down
cleansing the earth
in serenity.
The plants open their
thirsty throats
to the cool water
sliding down from the sky.
The whole earth
rejoices in this drink.
Everyone-
humans and animals alike
listen to the music
the raindrops make
as they patter down
from the celestials.
