    Miss You
    These lingering images in my mind... 
    I try to dream you are here, so that
    for a brief moment, I can feel at peace. 
    That's the effect you had on me. 
    A level of comfort so soothing,
    so peaceful, it created 
    a state of mind that nourished 
    and energized my vision of life. 
    But now that we are apart, 
    those images have begun to fade
    and I'm brought back to bland colors, 
    obscured thoughts and the echo of silence.
