I have something
for you to think about.

If Christ has taught me anything
it's this:


Strength, true strength,
comes not from the beating you can give
but from the beating you can take
Anytime someone tries
to pull you down in any way
just remember
it's because they see you
as being higher than themselves 
The closer you are to God 
the harder the Demons will thrash at you
If you are a symbol of hope 
then it is the demons job
to destroy that symbol

How?

By infecting the weaker people around you
And these people become the vessels
through which they act
They prey on fear, doubt, indifference,
insecurities, anger, self loathing, and hatred

Why?

Because it's their job to pull you down
to disgrace you, to break your spirit,
to stop you from being an inspiration to others,
to stop you from believing in yourself, or your gifts
To infect you with shame 

What to do?

Take it
Take every bit
and then show world
what true strength is
and stand
Show the world what power is
and walk without shame


Let them laugh, let them point, let them stare
let them mumble amongst themselves
and let them judge
It's just the way they deal with fear
When their test comes
they will remember the example you have shown

And you will have become
the beacon of light 
The Lord intended you to be
