    Letter

     In the very beginning
    I was a clear single letter
    and was nurtured by eternity's breath.

    Patient time and dimension added 
    snowfall as a syllable and a sentence,
    the lamb of love was faith.

    Aah, humanity and the world extended
    and organized each particled chapter,
    the blue sky and the damp earth book.

    Life in a Snow Crane's dance of rings with death.
    Hope funded in the power of the Alpha
    and the cherry blossom favor of the Omega.

    Now in the mystery of my penitence,
    I thank the indulgent North Star and look
    to be a cosmic letter in the ending.

    "Oh Lord, you have been our dwelling place through all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth or ever you did form the heavens and the earth, even from everlasting to everlasting...You are God!" Yes! Yes! Ivan, you always manage to craft powerful and meaningful pieces. To be a part of the immense universe is something to long for. The way in which you mingle nature, faith and love is simply PRICELESS!!!! This is a lovely, remarkable poem!
