    A Man From Nowhere

     He came from nowhere
    With nothing to spare,
    He gave before he knew
What the bible said to do.

     He listened to his heart
Before he knew that was God’s part,
He was beaten almost to death
Came close to drawing his last breath.

He tried to help lots of people
Learn life and how to live,
    And most importantly to learn
How they must help and learn to give.

He has been criticized and hated
    By family and friends,
They felt his efforts were bogus
And accused him of many sins.

     He helped many times
When he never truly had it to give,
But if he hadn’t his heart
Would have never let him live.

He was always pushed and shoved
    Constantly being made fun of,
When he finally had gotten enough
He made a stand on what we call love.

     He stumbled, tripped and fell
He was told he was going straight to hell,
Life to him soon became bitter
But he purposed in his heart not to be a quitter.

No one understands him to this day
Why he so strongly did it his way,
Because god talked with him every day
And told him this is it, there is no other way.

So he gives and gives to the point
No one will ever be able to understand,
    Because he follows God’s voice
Because he knows it is God’s plan.

He has helped those people no one else would
Made himself even wonder if he should,
He is like a storm full of thunder and lighting
He will be there long after the others quit fighting.

Who is this man that helped God
When to others it all seemed lost,
He’s just a man who helps God
    Regardless of the cost

He is just a man, who cares
    Yes a man from nowhere.

Dear Father- Thank you for all you do
through people who never want the credit.
To You be all the glory and praise!
    In Jesus Name-

    Aman.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
