Momma Why
Momma why wasn’t I loved
Why did you let him push and shove
Why didn’t you stand up for us
Were you afraid of the fuss
Did you not have the
Instinct to protect your kids
You just blamed us
No matter what we did
You should have tried
To get us some kind of help
And not let us
Wind up with all those welps
Hard to imagine for the
Sake of all your pride
You covered it up and
Tried to hide
If you would have just
Shown us a little bit of love
It would have been the
Most import thing we would
HAVE EVER THOUGHT OF
