The Powell Brothers
The Powell boys were
Only five and seven
Thank God Almighty
They are now in heaven
Their life was shortened
By their fathers actions
Their shot at life
Reduced to a fraction
Federal laws must be passed
To only have an off duty police officer
Guard them on supervised visits
So they won’t have to be the sacrificed
Until then all kids in this world
Must be at the fore front of our prayers
Protecting kids should be simple
Not have to go through all these layers
Their dad was a suspect in
Their own mother’s disappearance
So the judge decided to give him
A supervised temporary appearance
