Should I Stay
Humiliated as a child
Beyond any and all belief
Ran for help far and wide
Found no one to believe
Left Screaming
In a pool of blood
Held to standards
I couldn’t get my head above
Drowning constantly
In pain and sorrow
Looking like there
Would be no tomorrow
Constantly told
I would always be a loser
Choking on guilt
From all my accusers
A constant battle to survive
Day by day by day
Being pushed by pain
Why should I stay
