    Poem Commentary

    It is our Pikes Peak- and it changes every day- behold the wonder

    Pikes Peak in Fog - Haiku

                Mount covered in clouds
               signifying gods are home
                all wonder - now what?


     my Pikes Peak - hiding
    it must be cold up there
         I will only guess


                                     my mountain shrouded
                                     mysterious once again
                                       like Mount Olympus


         fog covers Mount Zeb
        rising high into the sky
          cap for the old man


                what is it I see?
        a hat that covers my mount?
               or perhaps a veil

    "what is it I see? a hat that covers my mount? or perhaps a veil" – a beautifully surreal phrase from a dreamy haiku. Bravo!!
