Outliers
The outliers of the galaxy,
The nemesis of all,
Are cold and cruel and bestial,
A sinister cabal
Of rogues who fight each other and
The Citizens of Light,
Who seek to drag us all into
Their bleak and hopeless plight.
They do not share the gift of love.
Compassion they have not.
They have no sense of right and wrong,
And virtue they've forgot.
They sit in darkened space and weave
A web of tricks and lies.
And anyone who ventures there
May not come back alive.
The Federation boasts a hundred
Thousand member states,
All bound by trade and treaty and
Morality's dictates.
All pledged to common good, and all
Committed to the right,
Who use the appellation of
"The Citizens of Light".
But not this solitary race,
Who only know their greed,
Who have no qualms to put their wants
Ahead of other's need.
Its power that they truly crave,
They always seek control.
Their home? Its on the planet Earth
Around the star named Sol.
