Family
Love is such a fussy thing,It seeks it's perfect mate.
By loving those like us we feel
We've just done something great.
But if there is a God above
They say that she is made of love.
How does it feel, I often muse
To love, yet not be free to choose?
Do you love your children more
Than hungry orphans in Lahorre?
Do you think it's really true
That God would feel the same way too?
Has your wife a better soul
Than Chinese peasants as a whole?
If so, can we then construe
That your God would agree with you?
Are you yourself a better man
Than Bhuddist monks in far Bhutan?
Do you think that you deserve
More than those who chose to serve?
To be both happy and secure
You first must love yourself for sure.
But we came from a single source.
That makes us family, of course.
It's good to love close family.
But that marks not nobility.
Find some way, in your life plan
To love the family of man.
