Punctuation
If deaths were punctuation marks,Which one would be your end?
For Atheists a period
Might be what they append.
Agnostics choose a question mark
To end their final day.
While Buddhist semicolons mark
The lives along the way.
The Pentecostals seem to think,
While shouting to the rafters,
That commas are the only mark
That leads to their hereafter.
Metaphysical illusion,
Is that the path we wend?
If so perhaps quotation marks
Might best surround "the end".
But as for me I think it best,
Before I blow this joint,
To guarantee my death will be
An exclamation point!
