Common Sense 2
Common sense is not exclusiveBelonging to one sect
Not property of Hindu, Jew
Nor Buddhist, I suspect.
Love your neighbor, love yourself, its
Not copyrighted prose -
But birthright of humanity,
And answer to it's woes.
It matters not if Christian or
Agnostic, sinner, saint;
Your heart still knows the right from wrong.
It knows the gold from paint.
Doctrines just boil down to words, mere
Vibrations in the air.
If you don't love humanity
There's nothing really there.
Words are vapors lost in wind, but
When full our love's unfurled,
With billowed sails and bursting hearts,
We go and change the world!
