Leaves
There're more important things to doThan raking up the leaves.
I have to watch my TV set
To keep it from the thieves.
I have to play that hedge hog game,
And drink another beer,
And hold the blasted sofa down
By sitting on my rear.
I need to watch the football game
And see the Niners win.
Then meet the boys down at the bar
To drink a little gin.
Long before I walked this Earth,
And when I'm cold and dead,
Those leaves will somehow sort it out,
In yellow, brown and red...
