Mystery
There are things I surely know,But still some mystery,
Like who was really right or wrong
In written history.
Like why the blasted lights turn red
When I am in a rush.
And why my efforts at the stove
All come out like mush.
Why my roses will not grow,
And why my team can't win,
And why the things I seem to like
Are either vice or sin.
But some things I can know for sure,
When day is finally done,
I loved and tried to change the world,
And frolicked in the sun.
