Common Sense
Time flies like an arrowBut fruit flies like a peach.
San Diego's what you get when
You drop your waffle on the beach.
All good things must someday pass
Many people will insist.
Of all the things you want to pass
Quarterbacks would top the list.
Men, it seems, do have two heads,
But use one at a time.
If you don't bury that axe it seems
You've got an axe to grind.
If you wear your heart upon your sleeve
You mustn't lose your shirt.
If you want to plant goodwill, my friend,
You've got to deal with dirt.
Idle hands are the devil's tool.
While money soon deserts a fool.
You can't be breaking every rule
From Wichita to Istanbul.
Now, there's a time to use your heart,
And a time to use your mind,
A time to watch real closely
Yet pretend that you are blind.
