    Breathe!

     The secret to longevity?
    Keep breathing, I am told!
    For that's the only way you'll learn
    The joys of growing old.

    The going is too tough, you say,
    The path too steep to climb?
    Focus on the basics, take it
    One breath at a time.

    When life seems overwhelming and
    You fear you're facing death,
    Just stare that fool right in the eyes
    And take another breath!

    A believer would have written, Stare the Devil in the eyes, for the finale! lol except. . . the Devil does not have power over life and death, the believer attributes that authority to God alone.

    Somehow I don't think anybody could win a stare down with God! Lol. Perhaps we stand a chance with the shade of death.
