    I Cannot Say

     I cannot say what's right or wrong
    It's up to you to choose
    I only know what's right for me
    Might not be right for youse.

    It ain't just water that makes the stew,
    It's the meat you put into it.
    It ain't intentions that make the man
    But the will to go and do it.

    How does one judge when twilight falls
    How well you did that day?
    Whatever you would have them do
    You must so do to they!

    And when at last you're laid to rest
    You need to know you did your best
    At least, I think, that much is true.
    The rest, my friend, is up to you!

    Cute, funny, truthful, what more could a reviewer or a poetry fanatic ask for? Reminds us all that we all have certain lines that no matter what happens we will not cross. Very well written and thanks so much for the laugh!!!!!

    Different folks .. different values .. everyone has a great need to feel good about themselves no matter a judge or two along the way. Self esteem amongst many can be quite a challenge these days. Great write. 9
