Barney the Badger
Old Barney Badger abounded with class. His burgundy vest had buttons of brass.
He wore a bowtie and brushed bowler hats
And shiny black brogans under his spats.
His breakfast was biscuits, buttered with jam,
Bunches of bacon and honey baked ham,
Blueberry blintzes, potatoes well browned
With onions and basil, piled in a mound.
His burrow was warm with boulders for floors
A burl wood front door with burnished brass boar
Whose knocker nose ring would wake up the dead
But for Barney's buttered brandy it's said.
