My Children
Come and meet my children
They obey me very well.
They work so hard on my behalf
It makes my old heart swell.
It isn't very easy
To keep up with all my plans:
Nine tenths of the planet's wealth
In one tenth of it's hands.
My oldest child is Hunger
And she can guarantee
That labor costs are held in check.
They almost work for free!
Poverty's the next one,
He manages cash flow,
Making sure the money goes
Where I think it should go.
My youngest child is War
He arbitrates disputes,
Wipes out the competition,
And then pillages the loot.
I'm so proud of my children
They give me all I need.
You see Hunger, Poverty and War
Are children born of Greed.
